CivEarth United Nations Election Victory Message

My fellow CivEarthlings:

First off, I would not be writing as Secretary General to you today without the help of some very great people. These people went above and beyond in their support -- not just for my campaign but also for other projects of mine too. Those include my towny towns and builds, along with The Civ Courier.

ChqrlieBee truly went above and beyond with his support, as he took time from his busy days to produce a brilliant video for his endorsement of my campaign. Chqrlie has proven that he was not just a highly valuable part of my campaign -- he is also a true friend to myself and many others, as well as a very devoted player to CivEarth and its community. As he showed his support for me, I would now like to do likewise for him. I highly recommend subscribing to his YouTube channel, which you may find at https://www.youtube.com/@ChqrlieBee. His leadership in the UN itself as well, being that he was the second secretary general of the United Nations, was one that made huge strides for the UN

Catgifs has also been a truly integral part of not just my campaign, but of the CivEarth United Nations as a whole. When the United Nations was just a fledgling organization, he took significant time out of his also busy days to put together the very pieces to make the UN, including writing a fair and free charter benefiting all of us, and laying the very foundation that the UN is still built upon today. Along with also being a true friend to myself and many others, as well as a very devoted player to CivEarth and its community, Catgifs has proven his dedication to making CivEarth the best it can possibly be for the enjoyment of everyone who is a part of it.

Edegg has also been an integral part of the UN taking time out of his very busy days to ensure function within the United Nations. His leadership is one that many of us will remember for the time ahead.

I would also like to thank everyone who voted in this election, regardless of the candidate you may have voted for. If members and representatives were unable to truly make decisions about their leadership, how would the UN be able to stand for peace and security for all?

But the United Nations is more than the effort of just a few people, and in order to accomplish more as a group, it will take an effort from all of us. To reach these goals, I would like to remind everyone of some core values we need to uphold: collaboration, participation, and unification. As our great past towns like Corsica, and great present towns like New Tokyo show us: the values of collaborating and participating can lead to both great results and lasting memories for everyone involved.

Just like with these towns, and most others, group effort is required. Let us keep in mind the great words that ChqrlieBee told us in his farewell address following resignation from the Secretary General position: "I call upon each of you now, each nation in the new world, to come together as one. The dream of the UN is one of peace, prosperity, and shared happiness. And to that end, there is nothing greater."

And with that, I would once again like to thank those who voted, those who established the UN rules and charters, those who set up this discord server and all of its features, and all those who have participated in good faith. Without everyone's work and dedication, I would never have been writing this, as there would not have been a union to write for. Now is our chance to bring new unity to CivEarth, to enable all members to prosper, and to not let anything stand in our way.

Thank you all!
